Project Description

SCOPE OF SERVICES

To design a state-of-the-art Multi-Use Sports Complex to be used year round by the Community and the Boston Red Sox during spring training. The main ballpark stadium with a total capacity of approximately 11,000 fans (including standing room and grass berm seating), Seven (7) Baseball practice fields, and other adjoining facilities that will house both the Major and Minor League operations and a rehabilitation center.

The engineering services included the assistants with the master site planning, parking lot design, grass parking, paved paving, Six (6) Community use soccer fields, pedestrian hardscape grading design, ADA review forcomplex compliance, coordinate and obtain all Local and State required permits. Design all playing fields for a natural playing field turf installation, graded all the playing fields to meet the MLB standards and design the master playing field under drain collection systems and master under drain lift station. Directly coordinated with Lee County traffic department relating to game day event traffic planning; and prepared exhibits based on the approved traffic mitigation plan.
