Project Description

SCOPE OF SERVICES

FTE was retained to analysis the sun/shade study of the proposed renovations to the existing University (Historical) Football Stadium. The proposed renovations will require portions of the existing stadium top level elevation to increase in height possibly reducing the actual seasonal reduction in natural sun light on the playing field.

The University requested that the sun/shade field analysis be based on the current” natural turf playing field surface”. Upon completing the analysis of the proposed elevations and seasonal sun/shade path modeling. The final results indicated that the increase in height would have some negative impact on various locations on the natural playing field turf.

In summary: The final analysis conclusions provided the Unisity with some additional agronomy measures that would be recommended to offset the reduction of the natural sun light during portions of the year.
