Project Description
SCOPE OF SERVICES
The East Campus Sports Complex included a new Baseball Stadium, Softball Stadium, Soccer Stadium and renovations to the existing In-Field Running Track all playing fields are being designed meet all NCAA/FIFA regulations and requirements for Baseball, Softball and Soccer tournaments, venues and events.
FTE is responsible for all athletic playing field designs, from schematic design to construction documents which requires professional coordination with the project architect and site civil engineering firm. The playing fields are currently being designed for both natural /synthetic turf depending on the final University programming requirements. All playing fields shall have new state of the art underdrain collection systems, master underdrain pump station, The overall irrigation system will be designed utilizing an innovative design approach to water conservation, This approach of utilizing ET rates based on a proposed central controller computerized system which will monitor the actual turf grass moisture VS typical sports field turf management practices.
In addition, FTE is responsible for all pre and post construction services which includes the following: Project cost modeling during each phase of plan development, maintain project milestone dates, attend administration meetings, bid documentation and final bid reviews, shop drawing review and approvals, QA/QC, construction meetings, punch list preparation and final playing field contractors substantial compliance.
